A step-by-step guide to managing your recurring donations
Our platform is designed to make it easy to support the causes that matter to you, and one of the easiest and most important ways donors can support charities on our platform is making a recurring donation. Recurring donations help charitable organizations keep their programs running throughout the year and provide sustaining support for their operations.
Overview of Recurring Donations
Recurring donations are set into motion when checking out. To set up a recurring donation, simply find the page of the organization you would like to support and click the “Donate” button.
At the top of the checkout page select the “Monthly donation” option.
Going forward your credit card will be charged for the amount you choose on the same day each month (you can change the donation date in your user account). You will receive an email notification before your donation is processed, as well as a receipt for your donation after it has been processed. Please note, your email receipt will not label your donation as a recurring donation.
Updating a Recurring Donation
You can update a recurring donation at any time. You will have the ability to update your donation amount, renewal date, and credit card information.
To update your recurring donation, log into your user account, select your name in the upper right corner of the screen, and click "Recurring donations" from the dropdown menu.
All of your recurring donations will be listed under the "Recurring Donations" tab.
Select "Manage" to edit your recurring donation.
Edit your donation in the popup and be sure to click "Save" to confirm your changes.
Canceling a Recurring Donation
You can also cancel a recurring donation at any time.
Click "Manage" to cancel your recurring donation.
Within the popup window, select "End this recurring donation."
