What are the processing fees for my nonprofit on Mightycause?

It is completely free to start using Mightycause! You can learn more about the different tools available to you here as well as set up a demo with one of our team members. Mightycause additionally offers a Pricing Guarantee Model. 

There is a transaction fee associated with each donation processed on the platform.

Organizations have two donation processing fee options available to them.

Let Donors Cover Fee (Price Guarantee Option):

Donors will be asked to cover an optional 7.9% plus $0.30 per transaction fee to include all platform and credit card fees. The majority of your donors will be happy to cover these fees, so that you don't have to! If your donor covers the fee, you will receive 100% of their donation. Prior to disbursing your funds, we will credit you for any of your aggregate fees above more than 1.99% and $0.49 per transaction. 

Pay Fee with Donations:

If you would not like donors to be able to cover transaction fees, you'll want to opt out of our Price Guarantee option and choose "Pay Fee with Donations."

No checkbox option will be shown and the full 7.9% plus $0.30 per transaction fee will be subtracted from the donor's contribution after they complete their transaction.

Please note: If your nonprofit selects this payment method, your nonprofit will not be eligible for the Price Guarantee.
