Administrators can designate lead contact admins in order for the Mightycause support and communications teams to contact your organization with important updates. All admins will continue to receive our standard notification emails. The designation feature will be for higher-level communications.
A lead contact designation can be made when adding a new admin or to any current admin. An organization can designate as many lead contacts as needed.
Add new admin and designate as lead contact
- Navigate to the 'Settings' > 'Admins' tabs on your organization profile page.
- Click 'Add new admin' in the upper right corner.
- Enter the first name, last name, email address, and position.
- Scroll down and check the "Mark as a lead contact" box.
- Continue with adding the best phone number for the contact and any notes you would like our support and communications teams to know.
- Be sure to click "Save."
*Please note: The telephone number will only be used for urgent security or support issues.
Designate lead contact to a current admin
- Navigate to the 'Settings' > 'Admins' tabs on your organization profile page.
- Select the 3 dots to the right of the admin's name. Then select 'Edit.'
- Scroll down and check the "Mark as a lead contact" box.
- Continue with adding the best phone number for the contact and any notes you would like our support and communications teams to know.
- Be sure to click 'Save.'

Remove lead contact designation
If the lead contact status of an admin changes, any administrator for your organization can edit the status of another admin.
- Navigate to the 'Settings' > 'Admins' tabs on your organization profile page.
- Select the 3 dots to the right of the admin's name. Then select 'Edit.'
- Scroll down and uncheck the "Mark as a lead contact" box.
- Delete the associated phone number.
- Be sure to click 'Save.'
