Moving donations to a different fundraiser page

If a donor made their donation on the wrong fundraiser page, or to your organization page instead of a fundraiser page, an admin for the organization can easily move it to the correct page.

Log in with your admin account and head to your organization page. From the left side dashboard select Reports > Donations.

From your Donations Report, find the donation you need to move and select the three dot icon followed by "Reassign Fundraiser."

Search for the fundraiser page or select organization main page and select "Save." You will then be prompted to confirm the update. If everything is correct, choose 'Yes, move donation.' The donation will now be reflected on the page it has been reassigned to. 

Be sure to only move a donation if you are certain this is the donor's intention. 

Things to note

• One-time donations that are already included in a matching grant cannot be moved
• Donations pending approval cannot be moved
• Donations cannot be moved to an event or a team page, only to a fundraiser page or the main organization page
• Recurring gifts: This moves all installments in the series — past and future — to the new page. Matching grants on those gifts may change, drop off, or newly apply based on the destination page.
