If your event has ticketing or registration available or required, you can integrate this into your event page. This keeps all of your event information and activity in one place.
Event organizers are able to:
- Integrate your Eventbrite page into your Event page through our 'Register' button
- Sell tickets
- Manage registration for your Event
- Message registered attendees, fundraisers, and ticket-holders
- Access detailed reports for registrations and tickets
Create Your Event
If you haven't already done so, you'll want to create your Event page.
Please follow the steps here to create an Event.
Create Your Registration Page
The second step is to create your registration page on Eventbrite. Eventbrite provides simple and easy tools that will help you build and publish your registration page.
You can head over to https://www.eventbrite.com/ and select "Create Event" in the top right corner to get started.
In order to create an event on Eventbrite, you'll be prompted to create an account or sign into your current account. If you're creating a new account, we recommend using the same email address you are using for your Event user account.
Once you're logged in, you can begin adding basic details about your event.
The next section will allow you to create and customize different tickets:
If you have any questions about creating or customizing your Eventbrite registration page, you can always reach out to Eventbrite Support or utilize their Help Center.
Once you have finished editing, select "Publish Event" at the top of your page.
Your completed and published registration page should open up.
Once you have finished your registration page, you can now sync your Event pages.
Link Your Registration Page to Your Event
Now that you have a registration page, you'll want to integrate that onto your Mightycause Event page.
On the left-hand side dashboard on your event page, select "Registration."
Select "Link Eventbrite" to link your Eventbrite account with your Mightycause Event.
You'll be asked to allow Mightycause to access your Eventbrite account, select "Allow."
If you have more than one event created on Eventbrite, you will have to choose the registration page you want to sync with your Mightycause event. Then select "Connect."
All of your ticketing options will appear once you have successfully connected your event.
Every ticket on Mightycause will automatically be required to fundraise. However if would like to remove fundraising as a requirement for a specific ticket, simply uncheck the checkbox next to the ticket.
You have now successfully connected your registration page to your Mightycause Event. Your Event page will now say "Register" instead of "Join this Event."
This support video will take you through the steps an attendee will see when they register for your Event:
Managing Your Event Page
As people begin registering for your Event, you'll want to keep track of all of your participants and attendees.
On the left-hand side dashboard, select "Participants" to review individuals that have registered for your Event and/or have created or published a fundraising page.
The icons at the top right of your report will allow you to invite new participants, message all participants, or download your participants list.
If you would like more comprehensive information on your attendees, you can access your "Attendee Report."
Your attendee report will provide you the Order Number and Order Date of your participants.
