In this article, we will go over how to access and manage your user segments. Are you looking for how to create user segments? If so, head to this support article: Using Filters and Creating Contact Segments
Accessing Segments
You can access your created segments by clicking the carrot icon to the right of 'All Contacts' in the Main Contacts Table.
The drop-down will show any segments that you have created under your admin account, as well as any public segments other admins have created. Pinned segments will show at the top of the list. Click on the segment you'd like to manage.
Managing Segments
Editing Current Segment
When you click on the segment, the contacts viewed in the table will update to this segment, and the filters used for this segment will show at the top of the table:
If you'd like to remove a filter, simply click the 'x' to the right of that particular filter. If you'd like to add filters, click the filter icon on the right hand side of the main contacts table, and then add your filters within the left hand filter tab. Once you have made any updates to our segment, a green 'save' button will pop up. You have two options for how to save your updates:
These updates can be saved to the current segment by choosing 'Save changes to segment' or saving it as a brand new segment by choosing 'Save as new segment.'
Other Options
To access other edit options for your segment, choose the 3 dot menu to the right of the segment name.
From this menu, you can edit the segment name and description, duplicate the segment, make the segment public or private, pin the segment, and remove the segment.
To share the segment you are viewing with other admins, click 'Export' on the right hand side of the Contacts page and then choose 'Copy link to segment.' The link will automatically be copied to clipboard, and you can then share this link with other admins to view.
