Not sure if you are an approved admin for your organization? Follow the steps below to help verify your current status and how to request to be an admin if you aren't one yet.
User Account
Through your user account, you can easily verify if you are an approved admin of an organization.
You can access your user account from your site menu.
When you’re logged in, underneath your name click on Managed Causes:
If you are set up as an administrator for an organization, you will see your organization listed under "Managed Nonprofits":
If you do not have a Managed Nonprofits section, the email address you are logged into is not set up as an administrator. The email address you are logged into has either not requested admin access yet OR has not been approved yet as an admin.
Request access
If you have not requested admin access yet for your organization, there are two ways you can request access:
Through the organization page
- If you haven't done so yet, create a user account login
- If you have a direct link to your organization page, head there. If not, find your nonprofit by using the search bar at the top of the site (you can search by name or EIN)
- Scroll to the very bottom of the organization page and click “Manage this organization”
- Fill out the information in the window that pops up and select SUBMIT
It can take 2–3 days for our team to process your request. We take security seriously and want to ensure we properly verify all users claiming access to your organization’s information. Once your request is reviewed and verified, you will receive an Admin Approval email notifying you that you have been approved as an admin. If our team is unable to verify your information, you will receive an email notifying you that additional information related to your position at the organization will be required.
Through registration
If you are unable to locate your organization page and plan on participating in a giving day with one of our Giving Day Partners, you can request admin access through the registration process. If you are not an admin, by completing the registration form an admin request will be automatically created. You will receive an email notifying you that your admin status is being reviewed.
