Every user on Mightycause must have a user account, even users looking to claim access to their organization’s page on Mightycause. To claim access, follow these steps.
Once you’ve claimed access to your page and have created a user account, you can login and access your user account Profile, where you can access fundraisers, donation history and any Organization pages you’ve claimed.
Your User Profile
When you sign up for Mightycause, you’ll have a user profile page where you can track contributions and access receipts for donations, manage recurring donations, manage any fundraisers you’ve created, and add a photo and information that shows your personality to the Mightycause community.
Once you login, place your mouse over the top right user icon:
You can access your user profile in two ways from your site menu. When you’re logged in, you can click either "[Your Name]” or “Fundraising” to access your profile.
When you’re on your profile page, you’ll see your name and user avatar (which is a randomly-assigned illustration if you haven’t uploaded an original one yet). Underneath, you will see different tabs that you can toggle between.
Editing Your Profile
To customize your user profile, click the "Public Profile” tab.
When you’re editing your profile, you can upload a photo of yourself to use as your user avatar, share your location, write a short profile, and fill out a fun Q&A that helps the Mightycause community get to know you.
Your Contribution History
You can view, download, print receipts, manage recurring donations, and download annual giving statements from this section of your Mightycause account.
You’ll find your contribution history under the “Your Contributions” tab.
All of your donations will be listed under "Donations History". You can search for a particular donation using the field ranges and search bar, or you can simply scroll down.
Any fundraisers you've created on Mightycause will be listed here. To navigate to a fundraising page, click "Manage" underneath the particular campaign.
To delete a fundraiser, click the trash icon on the top right of the icon.
Your Account Settings
You can manage your Mightycause account from your "Account Settings".
Here’s what you can update or edit from your Account Settings page:
You can update your email address. You can only use an email address on one Mightycause account, so you won’t be able to add an email address that’s being used on another Mightycause account.
This is where you can update your password.
When you create a Mightycause account, you are automatically opted into receiving certain emails from us. You can manage the notifications you receive in your account settings.
To make donating simple and easy, you can save your credit card information to your Mightycause account, so you won’t have to enter it each time you donate. You can view which payment methods you have saved to your account here, and remove any payment methods you would like.
You can connect your bank account to your Mightycause account. This feature is for people running personal fundraisers, so if you’re on Mightycause to donate, you don’t need to worry about this option and should save your credit card information under Payment Methods.
You can connect social media accounts, such as Facebook, Google, and Instagram accounts to your Mightycause account. This section of your settings page is where you can see which accounts are connected, and remove accounts you do not want connected to your Mightycause account.
Deleting your Mightycause Account
To delete your Mightycause account, go the "Public Profile" tab. Scroll to the bottom until you see "Delete Account".
Once you click it, it will ask you to confirm whether you want your account delete.
Accessing your Organization’s Page
To access your organization profile page, from the user icon at the top-right of the page, select the organization name.
Accessing Campaigns and Fundraisers from your Org Page
You can access all the fundraisers/campaign pages created for your organization by clicking on the "Fundraising" > “Campaigns” section of your dashboard.
Then click on any of the fundraisers in the list to visit the corresponding page. You’ll know you’re on a fundraiser page when it says the title, followed by, “A nonprofit fundraiser supporting [your nonprofit’s name].”:
You can go back to your organization’s page by clicking its hyperlinked name under the fundraiser, or by visiting your user profile on the top right-hand corner of any page.
