Best Practices for Role Assignment
Org Admin: Assign to organization leaders who need complete control over all aspects of the platform. Limit the number of Org Admins for security purposes.
Manager: Ideal for organization leaders who handle day-to-day operations, fundraising campaigns, and contact engagement.
Content Manager: Perfect for organization leaders focused on content creation, campaign management, and basic reporting without access to sensitive financial settings.
Accounting: Intended for team members focused on financial reporting, donor data management, and key integrations without access to fundraising campaigns or content management.
Understanding Access Levels
Edit Access: Full permission to create, modify, delete, and configure features
View-Only Access: Can see information but cannot make changes
No Access: Feature is not visible or accessible to the user
Overview of Administrative Roles
Your organization can assign users to different administrative roles, each with specific permissions and access levels:
- Org Admin - Full access to all features and settings
- Manager - Broad access to most operational features
- Content Manager - Access to content management and basic reporting
- Accounting - Limited access focused on financial reporting and disbursements
Org Admin Permissions
Org Admins have the highest level of access and can perform all actions within the platform.
Note: At least one admin of an organization must be an Org Admin. This is the standard permission level for all new admins unless a different role is assigned by an Org Admin.
