You can review and update your disbursement method in the "Settings" > "Disbursement Settings" tabs on your dashboard.
We recommend setting up EFT (electronic funds transfer) so you can receive your disbursements quicker and minimize the chance of checks getting lost or sent to an outdated address.
EFT
To set up an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), scroll down and click "Switch to Direct Payouts with EFT." You will be asked to enter your routing number, account number and attach a voided check/bank letter.
Upon submission, your request will be reviewed by the Mightycause team. If your EFT is approved, you will receive a completion email. If not approved, you will receive an email outlining the necessary changes.
If you need to update your EFT, select "Edit" within the "Disbursement Settings" tab to submit your new EFT information.
Checks
If you do not plan on setting up EFT, please make sure to double check your legal mailing address for disbursement checks.
If this address is incorrect, please select "Edit" to revise your address information. You will need to provide any government document, bank statement or utility bill that lists your correct information. We cannot accept any self-generated documents such as a W-9 form or IRS Form 990.
Please note, check disbursements have a $5 service fee so we highly encourage setting up EFT for your organization.
